Spray Foam Insulation Technician

The Spray Foam Technician is responsible for the timely and smooth coordination of installing spray foam insulation in buildings, homes, and other structures according to the required specifications. If applicable, see other related job descriptions/training checklists for additional responsibilities and requirements.

Requirements include:

  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Desire and willingness to abide by safety policies, practices, and rules at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Good interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED

May be required to wear a respirator with supplied air or cartridge filters. If this requirement applies, the Spray Foam Technician must pass a pulmonary and respirator physical administered by an approved qualified physician; may be required to possess or be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B with air brakes. Fiberglass Insulation Technician

The Fiberglass Insulation Technician is responsible for completely air sealing and insulating the exterior and interior walls, ceilings, crawl spaces and attic spaces of residential, commercial and industrial structures at jobsites.

Requirements include:

  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Desire and willingness to abide by safety policies, practices, and rules at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Good interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
